Friends of Rutgers participate in directed tasks designed to foster stronger ties between the university and the people of New Jersey. These include:

• Informing neighbors and colleagues of Rutgers’ benefit to the state
• Telling us about your relationships with legislators, key decision makers, or others who could benefit our advocacy efforts
• Participating in university-sponsored events
• Submitting letters and opinion pieces to newspapers
